Catalina Art Association

A historic art organization, Catalina Art Association, was formed in 1961 by the island artists who had been meeting informally since 1958 offering classes and taking trips together around Catalina Island painting the landscape. They organized the first Annual Outdoor Festival of Art in 1959, and continue to organize exhibitions and Festivals each year to encourage interest in fine art for the residents and visitors of Catalina Island. |

Southern California Plein Air Painters
The objective of this Association is to bring together painters of all media interested in Plein Air Art and offer the opportunity to exhibit work in Annual Juried and Non-juried shows and to exhibit in invitational Group Shows at Galleries and Museums, not organized for profit. Maintaining high standards, the Association strives for excellence in Plein Air art and promotes educational , philanthropic and awareness projects for the general public.

Women Artists of the West
Women artists of the West is a non profit corporation originally founded over 30 years ago by a group of women who painted together and wanted to establish venues and other opportunities for women artists, which were not available at that time. Originally based in the West, WAOW has grown over the years to include members throughout North America. Members generally work in traditional 2-D and 3-D fine art mediums, in many styles and many subject matters.
