Venice Italy Artist Retreat

Ah Venice!
Michael Mele and Linda Mironte have invited us to experience Venice...
a la Val Carson's "Artists Retreat". No formal instruction, just the intoxicating inspiration of Venice. This is a co-ed event. Artists, spouses, friends and relatives are welcome to join us. The best thing is we will be hosted by Michael and Linda with whom I enjoyed leading the now famous "Artists Retreat" in Tuscany for 7 seasons. This will be an exceptional experience.
Dates are Saturday to Saturday, October 16-23, 2010.
8-12 participants.
We stay in a convent. On the website there is some information about the convent and what is included.  Check: http://www.ilchiostro.com/index.php?action=workshop-details&item=161 and then go to “Accommodations” or “Getting There”.
The cost to the participants would be $1,995 with a "single" supplement of $400. if you want your own room.  All rooms have their own bathroom. 
Meals that are included-Everyone will be given a voucher for breakfast at a nearby café and we organize 5 dinners together.  That gives us 2 evenings and lunches on our own, which everyone will enjoy in Venice. We draw, paint, photograph, and absorb the beauty of Venice every day, plus a couple of excursions, like a walking art tour of Venice and one meal cooked at home by Linda Mironte, our co director and gourmet "real" Italian Chef. Non-painters will find plenty to do in Venice.
